I've been reading this thread and a connection
occurred to me.  It comes from the Van Helsing movie
from last summer.  In that movie the only thing that
could kill a vampire was a werewolf.  There has been a
lot of speculation that Snape is a vampire.  Hence the
connection.  Lupin the werewolf would have been the
only one who could have killed Snape the vampire.

Any thoughts.
