I can't see it either...but I have a feeling it may be a cultural difference and I am not talking the differences in relationships/friendships comparing it to different countries...I am talking about social groups. In my experience, my male friends don't find it a problem to give each other a hug, however if I were to look at other people I know.... some men would find it offensive (unfortunately: in my opinion). I have never related affection towards the same or opposite sex to sexuality, unless they show intimacy towards each other (especially as adults). (I didn't see much, if any intimacy in the canon).
