Sorry, list elves, I know its OT and quotes no canon, but I can't let

Indoor toilets and sewers have been around at least 5000 years. Skara 
Brae in the Orkneys has both and is neolithic. The drains were lined 
with birch bark as I recall. The Indus Valley civilisation also had 
flushing toilets before 1500BC.
