Pippin:
I think this ties into what she said about Snape being "more culpable"
because he, unlike Voldemort, had known love. The Death Eaters aren't
deficient in the ability to love, they've only made a choice to shut down
their compassion. Harry, offered the same choice, has never even been
tempted to do it. He may have been unsympathetic when he saw that
Hedwig had pecked Ron and Hermione, but it's not like he felt sorry
for them and then told himself not to. He didn't even tell himself not
to feel sorry for Snape.

Pippin:
Wait, are you saying that if Harry hadn't loved his parents, Sirius and
Dumbledore, they wouldn't have died? Of course it's easier for Harry
to blame Snape, because Snape is an enemy he can actually
imagine defeating. Thinking about blaming Snape releases him from
the powerlessness he feels against Voldemort.
