I hadn't thought that Hogmeade could have been included to Hogwarts 
ground. :O) Interesting idea! It would make sense to have an escape 
route. But I would think it would be a route to escape out of the 
castle rather than in since the password protection is required to get 
in the tunnel from Hogwarts end, but not when you come in from 
Honeydukes(tho the entrance in the cellar is designed to be hard to 
find).
