I actually wanted to add something else, then I forgot.  I think Harry 
has some sort of honed instinct guiding him.  He's friends with 
someone who is extremely loyal and who's family loves him like their 
own (Ron) and with the girl who's the best in the year.  Both of which 
has helped him/guided him through many situations. How did he manage 
that, other than the fact that he just got lucky?  I don't think it's 
luck. I think it's part of what makes Harry special.
