Whiz:
Good points, and Slughorn has enough well placed friends to get the
job if he wants it.  But I doubt that he does.  If Hogwarts opens, I
believe he will continue as head of Slytherin house though.

The interesting thing about Slughorn is that after a lot of
speculation about the "good" slytherin, which I either resisted or
thought might be Tonks, Slughorn seems to fit the description.

I think Slughorn may be the key to info about Lily though.  He
definitely had a soft spot for her.  I'm also very interested in the
five potions mentioned in the first potions class and how they fit
into the overall plot.
