Didn't JKR say in some interview that the last chapter in the 
seventh book is some kind of an epilogue and is going to discuss 
about the life of the survivors?? And if the scar is mentioned 
in this chapter (albiet as the last word..) it means Harry is 
also mentioned ...and if it is a chapter of survivors and Harry 
is in it -- that means Harry survives??? 
Just hopeful (or rather wishful) thinking ......
