The Dursleys

I still wonder what the Dursley's role is in all of this.  I wonder if
Lily truly was all muggle born.  The later books continue to say she
was, but...What about Petunia?  Mrs. Dursley seems like she might be a
Squib or a witch herself.  They certianly picked somebody for the film
who looked like it.  And Dumbledore's howler letter said 'remember the
last.'  It seems like Petunia knows more about the wizarding world
than she lets on.  And remember Dobby insisting that Harry not return
to Hogwarts.  Well why is he safe at the Dursleys?  They don't love
him, even if they are blood.  So it can't love protecting him as a
counter curse like implied by Dumbledore more than once (and discussed
in other postings).  I wonder if book seven will answer all the
unanswered questions, or will it just be more excitement, and more
fodder for speculation by us fans.
