Geoff:
I think that, in the past, contributors to the group have drawn a
distinction between portraits and photographs.
It is through the portraits that messages have been sent and
information obtained whereas photographs, such as in those in "The
Daily Prophet" and on the Frog Cards, seem to be similar to video
recordings in the real world - they just replay and are not
interactive.
