Harry was safe, the Death Eaters didn't even know he was there, and if
I had to decide between letting Draco die and murdering Dumbledore

Snape demonstrated that he was far more powerful than any of the other
Death Eaters who seemed quite terrified of him, I think Snape would
have had a good chance of killing them all especially as he had the
element of surprise on his side, but he never tried, he decided to
murder Dumbledore instead.

Yes if Snape chose not to help Dumbledore, and he did.

We don't know that the potion was killing Dumbledore, and besides at
that point there was no way Snape could have known that Dumbledore
drank the potion, an hour earlier even Dumbledore didn't know that. In
fact there is no way Snape could have even known such a potion existed.
