Actually, we've known that since the first chapter of PoA. The same 
news article that "outed" Scabbers to Sirius also stated that "A 
delighted Mr. Weasley told the Daily Prophet, "We will be spending 
the gold on a summer holiday in Egypt, where our eldest son, Bill, 
works as a curse breaker for Gringotts Wizarding Bank."

Also, since Bill has already had a near-death experience in Book Six -
and has lost his good looks to boot - I think it unlikley that JKR 
will place him in "double jeopardy."
