Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that he hadn't put it into motion long
before then. I did know that. I don't see how it makes a difference,
though. The vanishing cabinet plot is part of the assasination
attempt (as has always been agreed), but it's not part of the actual
murder. The DEs are there to provide him backup, give him a chance
to then perform the murder, give him his clear shot. When they get
him the chance, he still has to do the act on his own. They give him
the chance and he doesn't take it.
