I have been curious about this facet of Wizarding life myself.  Surely
Arthur Weasley would never have allowed Black paraphenalia to be put
out for Muggle sanitation workers.  I would guess they customarily
evanesco the trash, but it seems like it might be kind of dangerous to
do that with dark objects.
