OOTP Ch 23 - when Hermione is leaving a Christmas gift in Kreacher's 
cupboard, it says, "In the far cornerglinted small objects and coins 
that Harry guessed Kreaterhad saved, magpie-like, from Sirius's 
purge ... " The haul included photos that were thrown away over 
summer, so, Kreatcher didn't mind sifting through the garbage.
