But that's exactly why the information *couldn't* have come from Snape.  If 
it's that obvious to you, then it would surely be just as obvious to LV and 
Snape would be dead at the start of book 6 .  Since Snape is still in his 
good graces after the MoM fiasco, LV must have hard proof that Snape wasn't 
the informant.

Bella doesn't accuse him of this in Spinner's End either and she's throwing 
everything she can think of at him.
