Of course another interpretation of that incident is that Snape is
simply gloating here over Harry's inability to perform Unforgivables.

How was Snape protecting Harry when Harry wanted to see Dumbledore
in GoF, stood there , nervous and upset and Snape was taunting him.
I don't see anything positive here whatsoever, but that is JMO of
course.

Or another interpretation of course is that Snape enjoys taunting
them more than "some" but "a lot", just because that is who he is.
