Kemper now:
Reading other threads as well, I don't like the idea of Filch either, but
would feel better if the desperate circumstances is saving Madam Pince from
harm or death. That way it is the power of love (I'm assuming, as many are,
that they have romantic trists) that brings about Filch's unrevealed magic.
If this is the situation, then I'm all for Filch being the one late in
life. But I will never, regardless of circumstanse, be okay with Figgy
being the one.
