Q/Regulus Black / Significance of DD & Sirius having a brother

Agreed, I also think Aberforth and Regulus will have only 
instrumental roles is Book 7, I don't see Harry bonding with them.
Specially because Aberforth seems to be very elusive, and Regulus 
is, well, dead.

But the repetition of the 'unknown brother' theme is indeed 
suspicious. Why did JKR choose to pull two brothers out of the 
shadows at once (at once = I mean in the same book)? I wonder if 
both will have the same role in the story structure, that is, will 
both be sources of trustworthy information and/or tools for Harry? 

Does anybody remember something JKR said in her interview to 
Mugglenet/Leaky, she said it would be profitable to speculate about 
Dumbledore's family. She could be talking about Aberforth.
