Warning first: Their is a spoiler about the OOP film below, o read at your own risk. 

There is actually no canon proof of Marietta's age. Even the Lexicon says that she is likely the same year as Cho. She could even be as young as Colin and Ginny, (4th year) but she is not older then Cho, since Cho's and Marietta's 7th year was during HBP. 

It is not likely that either char will appear in book 7, since in theory though should have grad, (yes they didn't take their Newts) and Marietta has been cut from the OOP film.
