Eddie:
Makes me wonder what would happen to an already-dead spirit, for
example Nearly-Headless Nick, if it passed through the veil.  N-HN
already mentioned to Harry that he thought there were wizards at the
Ministry doing research on what happens after death... well, the
non-ghost kind of death.  (I don't have my books w/me, but it was in
the final chapters of PoA, when Harry seeks out N-HN to find out about
Sirius).

Anyway, could N-HN go through the veil and come back?
