How is the number 7 superstitious? The book states it's the most 
magically powerfully number (I believe there was a wizarding card on 
this...about the person that discovered or proved it) so in a world 
with magic ignoring it would be just as stupid. I assumed that 7 was 
a key component of some from of magical physics or math (the 
wizarding version of pi or the golden ratio?). Voldemort has made 5 
more Horcrux then anyone that we know of so he's actually a 
trailblazer in the use of Horcruxs.
