Pippin:
In a way she's more culpable than Draco, because she knew that what she was
doing was wrong, and yet she did it anyway.

Sherry now:
I see a big difference between Ginny and Draco, and yes, I do see redemption
ahead for Draco, and I do not like him, and I do like Ginny. However, The
big difference is age. Ginny was 11. Draco is either 16 or 17. If he's
17, he's of age in the WW, presumably an adult with the choices and
consequences that involves. Neither has he been possessed by Voldemort.
Ginny was a child, and that, to me, gives her a pass. It's impossible to
compare the two situations based on the fact of their ages at the time.
Ginny got into something dangerous without knowing what she was doing.
Draco knew what he was doing and made his choices. Once his family was
threatened, I can understand him to some extent, because why should he feel
he can trust any other adults to help him? In that way, he still shows that
he has growing up to do. Yet, still, he is older than Ginny was in COS and
I cannot see how she could be blamed, but Draco cannot.
