DA Jones here:
There are two possible answers:
1. Momentum. Both Dumbledore and the spider may have made some sort of reflexive move to get out the way thus adding momentum in the direction away from the spell. So DD prior momentum carried him over the wall, not the spell.
2. Both DD blasting and the spider skittering were the result of 'low life force prior to the spell. The movement was the result of the extra-energy of the spell disapating. Spider don't strile me as creatures with a lot of life energy. Killing a spider with an AK is rather a lot of overkill. It's liike dropping a real bomb instead of a bug bomb. DD lifeforce was also very low because of the poison and the blackened hand, he was very near death when he died so it was the extre energy of the AK that blasted him back.
Although the oddest thing is his bleeding mouth. The AK is not supposed to leave any physical marks, although the bleeding mouth may be the result of additional physical damamge from the fall or prior damage from the potion Harry didn't notice.
Or it was all faked. What do you think?
