Yes, sometimes I think that's what JKR has in mind but I certainly
hope not, it would make a terrible story. Killing Voldemort with love,

Of all the mistakes Harry has made over 6 books I believe the single
biggest one was made in book 3 when he stopped Lupin and Black from
doing what needed to be done. Voldemort would not have been able to
return and countless people would still be alive.
