Apologies to the elves for mentioning the films, but I remember some discussion a while ago around the fact that Robbie Coltrane was only contracted as Hagrid for the first 6 films. There was much discussion as to whether that meant he was going to be killed off.
 
But perhaps it just means that Hogwarts will not form part of the 7th film, because the final book sees Harry out and about in the WW as he searches out Voldemort and his horcruces.
 
But JKR alone knows all...
