So I don't think that Black is lying, but I doubt that

Alla:
So if he is not lying and he says so in the quote I brought up, clearly
that he was afraid that Peter would have delivered Harry to Voldemort,
the conclusion that he really was not concerned about Harry is made
based on what?
And we do not know whether Peter could have heard the rumors or not,
but it seems to me to be a very **reasonable** concern for Sirius when
he found out that traitor is near Harry that he may harm Harry.
I mean, seems like really obvious conclusion to make to me.
He may not be concerned about clearing his own name or just not
believing that it could be done, but he still can be concerned about
the life of the child whose father was like a brother to him, whom he
loved too. And the fact that he had not seen this child for twelve
years would not make him love this child any less IMO. I will be as
bold as to claim here that this is actually more than opinion.
My niece is year and a half right now, if for some reason I would have
seen here next time in a decade from today, the love would still be
there, from me I mean. I spend enough time with her to love her all my
life.

JMO,
Alla, who thinks that Sirius was being irresponsible for going after
Peter, but who does not doubt in the slightest that the main reason for
his escape was concern for Harry ( and of course desire to kill Peter)
