Would you clarify? In what way do you mean "problem"? Do you mean that 
JKR has implied that doing so is "wrong", morally? Or simply that it 
never seems to work out well for the people who try it, as if the laws 
of nature,in the WW, seem to actively work against it? If I remember 
correctly, which so far I haven't, in Book 1, Nick Flamel seemed to 
pull it off quite nicely and with little or no ill effect to his 
concience or reputation. He gave it up easily when asked, I believe.
