If this were true, Harry and Sirius would be cousins and we already 
know that the Dursleys are Harry's only living relatives.  Personally I 
think Charlus Potter is a relative of James's father: brother, uncle, 
or cousin.  On the other hand, Charlus could be no relation to James at 
all.  Mark Evans, anyone?
