Actually (and I'm willing to eat crow tomorrow, Sunday, or on Tuesday, 
when we hear from JKR again), after rereading the book, I think Dudley 
DOES die, as do Vernon and Petunia.  I don't have my book here, but 
about 1/3 of the way in, there is something about Dedalus's house being 
blown up... isn't that where the Dursleys are?  So I think it's 
possible that they, Diggle, and Jones have now all perished for the 
cause.  I HOPE I'm wrong, but that's how I understood it (but only when 
I read it the second time)... none of the five are mentioned again.
