I think this is a brilliant idea, but I see some difficulties with it.
What is the secret that Voldemort had hidden in his own soul? The
location of the DEs HQ? Why would that be such an important secret?
Wouldn't it be more logical to hide the secret of the locations of the
Horcruxes themselves? Yet it seems that this secret isn't protected by
a Fidelius, or Dumbledore would be unable to find the ring and RAB
would be unable to find the locket. 

If some secret is hidden in Voldemort's soul, then it must be the most
important secret of all. What would be even more important than the
location of the Horcruxes?
