Yes, it's what I would say if I were Harry, except that I don't think
Dumbledore would ever call him on the carpet for that.

Exactly, the Wizengamot was full of intelligent and wise old wizards
and witches, it would not be easy to tell a convincing lie to them,
but Figg and Dumbledore pulled it off. I congratulate them! Telling a
lie to the enemy is no vice, it's a virtue, if you can do it well.

You can find good things that are hard, and good things that are easy,
and bad things that are easy, and bad things that are hard; Dumbledore
said it's important to be able to sort that out. I can find no
hypocrisy there.
