Hmm, no I'd say Hermione does that more for Ron.  Though even with Ron 
the reaction isn't visceral enough, IMO.  Generally there's some sort 
of fisticuffs or tussling before the moment of forever friends.

IOWs, Slytherin is Hogwarts' (or the WW's) Mad Woman in the Attic?

The question isn't "is she really mad?" but "why is she mad?", right?
