The "blessed dead" (WAS Re: JKR's intent)

Why assume that the people Harry called to him with the Stone are 
the "blessed dead", and no one else was? I thought it clear enough 
they were Harry's most dearly beloved dead.  In addition to Severus 
and Regulus, also missing were Tonks, Moody, Fred, Cedric, Colin, and 
Dobby, all of whom I figured were worthy, but not close enough to 
Harry, unlike his parents, his godfather, and the teacher other than 
Albus to whom he was closest. And, of course, Albus was missing 
(probably because of the small matter that he seemed to be sending 
Harry to his death after leading Harry to believe he had a chance to 
live - his presence at King's Cross suggests he too achieved an 
afterlife, so I see no reason to believe the other dead of the series 
did not).
