Still, if the only counter-example is the foreign bird who marries a
minor character.... She's a predictable trope, though - only the
foreign bird is allowed to be sexually honest? And she's explicitly
identified with a particular stereotyped portrayal of female
sexuality, first seen at the Quidditch World Cup. In canon, she
certainly is shown to turn out all right, but is she the only example
of someone who completely escapes her birthright?
