He used this when he was flying with Hagrid at the start of DH, when he
saw Stan S. In this instance I agreed with Lupin that he was too nice
and should have used an unforgivable curse as Stan could really have
been a death eater and killed Harry. I still think he was right to use
the curse he did against Amycus in DH, for many reasons.
