Leaving aside the question of whether Hermione does anything to
support her parents (protect them, yes, support them.... eh?)

In the manner in which I was using the term support, yes, she does, as they
do her.

I don't recall the name of Draco's grandparents being in the books and due
to an appointment this morning I had to cut my answer a bit short.

As Hermione became more accustormed to the WW, she does distance herself
from her family, but she does still spend some time with them and if I'm not
incorrect, Hermione was supposed to have a sister, but she never got added
into the cast of characters.

As supporting characters, we don't really have to know all the details of
either Hermione's or Draco's families or home lives. If I had been reading a
story in one volume only, the lack of details might bother me more than it
does, but considering the length of the work, it doesn't. It does not take
away from the story as a whole.
