Hi,
The Scriptures you make reference to are:
Mark 12:30-31 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these." (NIV)
John 15:13 "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." (NIV)
And we can continue quoting Bible verses from both the Old and the New Testament regarding the Christian presence in the Harry Potter Stories.
If you are interested in going deeper into this, I would suggest reading "The Gospel According to Harry Potter" by Connie Neal. It is an excellent approach to Christianity using Harry Potter Books 1-4.
Regards,
Gloria
