Trying not to smile, actually.

Zara:
I don't think we have ever seen him laugh. Smile, yes, employ humor, 
yes, but not actually laugh. That's probably too uncontrolled a display 
of emotion for him. He does lose control on occasoin, but the things 
that tend to trigger it, aren't very funny.
