But if Harry became master of the elder wand by taking Draco's
regular wand, then wouldn't anyone who beat Harry's holly wand become
master of the elder wand?
So either Harry has to use it or make sure it's hidden where no one
would find it. I'm not sure replacing it into DD's tomb is hiding it
well enough. If he is going to do that shouldn't he just snap the
wand now? That way no one could be its master.

There may be no one we saw. But Voldemort was rising as the last dark
lord was falling. Who can say that there isn't someone else? I
believe it makes more sense to assume there is going to be another
one because there always seems to be another one around the corner.
