Pippin:
The wand's perspective on LV vs Draco might be a bit different than
yours.  Dumbledore had confronted Voldemort and driven him off at
least twice: once in the Mirror Chamber and once at the Ministry. 
Would the wand choose a wizard who had not only never defeated its
last master but had in fact fled from him in fear, in preference to
Draco who had won a clear and unquestionable victory?
