You and I don't have the magic gene so there is no way we can answer that question; we couldn't even make a simple potion even if we read it out of a book because we'd soon get hopelessly confused. People asked Beethoven how he wrote his music and Einstein how he came up with his theory and neither could explain how they did it, they just did it. If you have to ask you can't.
