The discussion takes place in DH, chapter 33, the Prince's Tale.
However, much as Severus and Sirius often do--I've confused James for Harry. That is, I meant James, not Harry in the earlier post.

James has just expressed his opinion about Slytherin, and Severus counters that Slytherin in brainy while Gryffindor is brawny.
