Actually Dave she is one of my favorite actresses and I had decided
a long time ago that if I ever had a daughter, her name would be
Hermione Kathleen. There too is a recent (young) actress named
Hermione Norris.

June:
I think we have a good mix of common and uncommon names in the books
which is true to real life. I think everyone has known at least one
person with an uncommon name. I myself have what is an uncommon name.
My first name being Roberta (June is my middle) I have only met two
others with my name in my life. Then there was grade school when I
went to school with an Indian boy named Herish (pronounced her
reesh). Also as someone has pointed out a lot of the unusual names
mean some thing that describes the character ie Lupin being from the
Latin word Lupus meaning wolf.
