If you count Harry's words as canon proof, then yes :-). He said it during the last confrontation with LV. I don't know why he thought that, but aren't we supposed to believe *everything* Harry said after returning from the limbo :-)? People do acquire some kind of mystical knowledge on the other side, I guess...
