Yep and I lost count how many times I said the very same thing in this thread :-) I am objecting to Snape not being responsible at all, because he was you know, forced to go there by Sirius' manipulations, even if Sirius did not tag him along on the chain, or told him that there was Lily there, or staff like that. My god I was worried that this fanfiction thingies will come true.

Sorry, but nowhere in this thread I said anything to make this analogy possible or at least nowhere in this thread I meant to say anything to make this analogy possible. I hold Sirius firmly responsible for giving information to Snape and I hold Snape responsible for going there.
Same as I hold Snape responsible for giving LV information and for LV choosing to act upon it, which of course he did not have to.
