Kathy:
Harry never was the Golden Boy. His aunt and uncle resented him and
his cousin was a huge bully. His fellow students were quick to judge
him especially in the Chamber of Secrets when Harry was speaking
Parseltongue. Snape's biggest mistake was not getting to know Harry
as a separate person. Can you imagine how Sirius would have reacted
if Snape had actually bonded with Harry?
