[HPforGrownups] Did anyone else notice this?

Well, I didn't realize this specifically. But it is not a surprise.
The entire story - with few exceptions - is told from Harry's perspective. 
So, the reader knows what Harry knows and usually does not know what he 
doesn't. So, until Harry learns, that the "Azkaban guards" are called 
"dementors", the narrator does not know the names. After he gets that 
information, he uses it.
