I have a character at Hogwarts Online (www.hswcw.com) who was doing his Internship project during his last year at Beauxbatons. As part of that, he sent out the following questionnaire about the rooms we know about in the Department of Mysteries:

 Entrance Chamber
How do Unspeakables identify the room they require?
   1. Guess, like Harry and the D.A.
   2. Use a special spell to identify the rooms
   3. Room recognizes Unspeakables and will open the appropriate door when they name the required room.
   4. Some other way (suggestions welcome)

 Hall of Prophecy
How do prophecies get into the room?
   1. Sent in by the seer
   2. They just magically appear there
   3. Unspeakables are alerted that a prophecy has been spoken, and they track down information about it.
   4. Some other way (suggestions welcome)

 Brain Room
Why did the brains attack Ron?
   1. They are Muggle brains and will attack any wizard
   2. They are Dark Wizard brains that attack by nature
   3. Thoughts from one brain are often in conflict with those from another brain
   4. Some other reason (suggestions welcome)

 Death Chamber
Why did only Harry Potter and Luna Lovegood hear the voices beyond veil?
   1. Only those that have seen death can hear them (like seeing Thestrals)
   2. They had lost loved ones who were trying to call to them
   3. The two of them had vivid imaginations, and were imagining the voices
   4. Some other reason (suggestions welcome)

 Time Room
In this room there is a magical bell jar, that cycles things back to its earliest stage, then on through its life cycle to the end of life, then cycles back to the point of birth again; is it:
   1. An invention of modern-day wizards
   2. A discovery from ancient times that is being studied to see how it works
3 Something that came back from the future (either accidentally or on purpose)
   4. Something else entirely (suggestions welcome)

 Space Chamber
Are the objects seen in this room the actual planets, etc., (was Pluto actually blown up by Luna)?
   1. No, they are just replicas
   2. Yes, they are the actual planets (Pluto had to be repaired, and its 4 small moons, not discovered by the Muggles until 2005, nine years after the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, are bits they missed)
   3. No, but they do form a link for instant transportation to the real thing
   4. Something else entirely (suggestions welcome)

 Love Chamber
The Love Chamber is kept locked at all times, so very little is actually known about it. It is rumored that it contains a large fountain of Amortentia (the most powerful love potions known) in the middle of it.

The question is: what is going on behind those locked doors? Possibilities I've come up with are:

 1. Researching love potions
 2. Researching the kind of magic that saved Harry Potter because of his mother's love and sacrifice
 3. Studying the 4 forms of love that the Greeks came up with (agape: unconditional love, feelings for one's children, etc.; eros: intimate love, sexual passion; philia: brotherly love, affectionate regard, friendship; storge: common/natural empathy normally within a family, can also mean acceptance/putting up with the situation)
 4. All of the above
 5. Something else, or some other combination of the above (other ideas welcome)

My main question here is: Are other people interested in speculating about what goes on in these rooms? If you've read this far, I'm hoping you might be. Perhaps we could discuss what Muggles know about the subject being studied in each room, what we know from the books or just speculate about what wizards know about them.

 Anyone game?
