Yep, that thought occurred to me too, Naama.  I was really hoping 
Umbridge would never be seen again after the centaurs carried her 
off, but obviously *something* very disturbing happened to her 
during her visit with the centaurs.

However, given the centaurs attitude toward humans, I don't think 
that they would even consider sullying themselves by er...consorting 
with a human.  Umbridge, in particular, is so revolting that I can't 
imagine that Bane or any of the rest of the ones we've met would 
even be tempted.  Still, I wouldn't put it past JKR to have wanted 
to plant that particular image in the minds of her grown-up readers, 
just for the fun of imagining our reactions.
